Smart notifications are required to allow deep work to continue - so the system has understand the meaning and context of each message.
The deep thought necessary to intelligently collaborate will not come during real time meetings.
It's really hard to prune your ideas and correct your implementations by yourself. You need other opinions.
You need Dialogs and Initiatives with an approval process rather than trying to do everything in meetings.
Your asynchronous communication needs to be in the same context as your requirements and stories. Flitting between group chat and a Kanban board will not suffice.
