Current rules lead to mistakes

The current rules lead some people to publish materials that should not be public. For example, on several occasions, children's school work has been published with their full names, contrary to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This is something we would like to avoid in the future.

Short readable links

You may have noticed that some OrgPages can be accessed via special links:

But what if you could make such a link too? For now, only the creators of OrgPad and our ambassadors have that option. Our Barus made her own personal website at orgpad.com/s/barus, and I made a guide to my social networks at orgpad.com/s/vitkalisz. We plan to add this feature for paying customers. If you'd like to try it out now, contact us and we'll work something out.

Why are we changing the rules?

The free version of OrgPad was always meant as a trial version where you can get a taste of it. OrgPad is a paid service, so if a person likes it and wants to use it, they should pay for it too.

As well, we wanted to give public content creators the option of not paying for OrgPad as a thank you for supporting our community. Unfortunately, we miscalculated in this regard. The current free version setup provides almost no benefit to creators. People have instead started publishing material just to save on paying for OrgPad.

Short links with optional endings have completely changed the way we see documents. Links can now be something like labels that everyone can easily remember. This has made possible to create your own personal websites in OrgPad - places where you can refer your friends, acquaintances or the public, and where you can express yourself very easily at the same time.

Decreasing quality of public content

OrgPages that are published to save money are in most cases of poor quality. The reason is that they are the least important documents to people, i.e., they have invested the least effort in. As a result, these are work-in-progress documents, tests, or old notes. This reduces the quality of OrgPad's public content, making the experience worse for everyone else.

support

Would you like to give something back to OrgPad? 🎁 Would you like to help us grow? 🆘 Get in touch with us. We may reward you with a discount on your subscription or support you by setting up promo codes for you.

We are open to partner with enthusiasts and ready to support good causes. Simply reach out, like the people from the Náboj or Fyziklání Online competitions did. Would you like to help OrgPad on a long-term basis? 🦸‍♂️ Become an ambassador!

OrgPad ambassadors are people who actively help us grow. In return, they get access to some special features - such as creating readable links - and to aggregate statistics - such as traffic - to their content.

For more information, contact us at support@orgpad.info or on our social media.

Even more possibilities with pictures

We've extended the options for images with transparent background so you can use them instead of headlines or as links. This has broadened OrgPad's freedom to create truly beautiful and original content even further.

gift

🎄 Christmas is coming rather fast and so it's time to think about what to gift your loved ones this year. I don't know about you, but at least for me this is getting harder and harder every year. An OrgPad subscription might be an interesting solution. After all, at Christmas, one should slow down and reflect, and that's exactly what OrgPad was created for.

Choose one of the following offers and email us at support@orgpad.info. We will email you the details for the wire transfer.

We have improved the server

After the modifications, the server load dropped dramatically which made its operation more efficient and thus made OrgPad faster.update-orgpadiho-serveru

We fixed bugs

We have decided to improve the little things that have been bugging us in OrgPad for a long time. For example, some images from the Internet wouldn't upload, or sometimes, the text in a cell would overflow outside the cell. Since September, we've fixed these and a bunch of other things.

Schools of all sizes

People learn tools by using them. OrgPad is a tool and so you have to get your hands on to really understand it. As you play with a tool and gradually learn how to use it, you discover new, unexplored horizons and develop your skills. That's why OrgPad has to get to the children directly and cannot remain just a tool for teachers. We kept this in mind when we were introducing our pricing, which is why we have introduced special tariffs for schools. I'm thrilled that OrgPad is already helping entire teaching staffs in six schools.

We sponsored two international competitions

Education and talent support are topics that have interested me since high school. My interest in moving forward in these areas was even one of the important arguments why I decided to work on OrgPad. I was therefore very pleased when two well-known international competitions approached me at the beginning of the school year asking for sponsorship. All winners of both competitions received a gift voucher for a yearly subscription to OrgPad, and each of the participants got the opportunity to use a 10% discount coupon.

working

In the next few days, we will speed up the loading of the list of OrgPages and thus the entry into the application. We will also speed up the loading of the OrgPages themselves.

After that, we'll have another round of bug fixing:

debugging

And when we're done, we'll get down to basic editing on mobile devices 😉.
