Wow, what a busy week! So many things have happened.

Beware!

There is a group of verbs in English that cannot express continuous form. We must use simple form instead.

KNOW, WANT, LIKE, LOVE, HATE, RESPECT, PREFER, SUPPOSE, EXPECT, BELIEVE, UNDERSTAND, SEE, HEAR, SOUND etc.

We have known each other for ages.

Asking about the period of time until now. How long?
