We describe what are news in OrgPad for December 2021. We also showcase some examples how OrgPad can be used.
Hold CTRL and double-click a unit to select all units of the same color in the OrgPage. The same works for links as well.
Our launch wasn't prepared, I just thought we'd give it a go at Product Hunt. As expected, OrgPad didn't do well at first.
This idea was suggested to us by @CatoMinor3 on Twitter. If you edit the title in a cell, the editor of its content is not opened. This makes the cell nicely compact and allows more to fit on the display. Also the changes are less destructive with regard to the layout.
OrgPad's infinite canvas had the disadvantage that you could get lost in it. Now if you get lost, an arrow will appear on the side of the screen showing where your materials are.
We were really surprised by that and it was a beautiful Christmas present for us. We spend the rest of the month talking to people there, responding to feedback and further growing the product. Thanks a lot for your support!
We have improved autodection of hyperlinks. Some hyperlinks are detected automatically as they are written, others are detected when closing the editor.
There are still discounts to grab. Use promocode PHUNT21 during Checkout.
To enable selection in a cell in read mode, click and hold the cell you wish to copy from. The cell will raise slightly and you can copy its contents.
We have fixed some critical bugs related to iOS. OrgPad can be used there again. We plan to improve support on mobile phones in the upcoming months.

It is possible to “drag and drop” a preview of an OrgPage from the home page to an OrgPage in another window. A new cell with title, description, tags and automatically updating OrgPage preview image is inserted. An interactive version of the OrgPage is inserted on the second page of this cell. In this way it is possible to make your own collection or substitute folders.
